In case you haven't noticed, it's rare that I review an album these days, unfortunately I don't have as much time as I used to. Having said that, when I do muster of the time and energy to do a post, it must be something worth writing about!

The Panther's inbox is flooded with a lot of talented up and coming musicians, but this one in particular caught my ear. Chris Flew is a musician, songwriter and amateur film maker
currently based in Glasgow, Scotland. He's opened for the likes of The National, Frightened Rabbit, Laura Veirs and Damien Jurado (all Panther favorites).

The production on this album is superb, leaving room for the songs to breathe and develop, and poignant when it needs to be. I've always been a fan of more is less production, it's this type of sound that really makes you appreciate a sudden bass line that creeps in minutes in to a song as it develops. A good example of this is the third track off of Kingston Bridge "Drowning". Check it out below.

Chris is a talented songwriter, and I highly recommend you check out his album.
